Students Grievance Redressal Cell
The Student Grievance Redressal Sub-Committee (SGRSC) is constituted to address and resolve grievances raised by students in a fair, transparent, and time-bound manner. The committee ensures that students' concerns are heard and acted upon to maintain a healthy academic and
social environment.
Objectives
- To provide a platform for students to voice their concerns.
- To ensure prompt and impartial redressal of grievances.
- To maintain discipline and harmony among students.
- To enhance accountability and transparency in the college administration.
Scope
The Sub-Committee shall address grievances related to:
- Academic issues (evaluation, attendance, internal marks, etc.)
- Infrastructure (classroom, lab facilities, etc.)
- Harassment (verbal, physical, cyber related issue, etc.)
- Financial matters (fee disputes, scholarships, etc.)
- Library, transportation, and canteen services
- Any other legitimate issue concerning student welfare
Note: Matters under legal investigation or disciplinary proceedings will not be under this sub- committee's purview.
Procedure for Filing a Grievance
- Students must submit a written grievance through the official grievance form (online or offline).
- The grievance must include specific details and any supporting documents.
- Anonymous complaints will not be entertained.
Redressal Mechanism
- Upon receipt, the grievance will be acknowledged within 3 working days.
- The committee will conduct a preliminary review and may call the concerned parties for a hearing.
- A resolution will be provided within 15 working days, unless additional time is needed for investigation.
Appeals
If the student is not satisfied with the resolution, they may appeal to the College Grievance
Redressal Committee (CGRC) within 7 days of receiving the decision.
